Study Description:

The purpose of this study is to evaluate how effective a facial care product works over 8 and a half weeks.

Gender:  Females- Need to have OILY SKIN & SENSITIVE SKIN

Age: 40-65 for Caucasian, Hispanic  (40 to 70 for Asian or African American)

Skin Types: I-VI (light to dark skin tones)

Study Description:

This study tests a facial serum for 12 weeks on women with fine lines, uneven skin tone and self-perceived first signs of aging on the face.

Gender:  Females

Age: 28-43 - Open for Asian, Caucasian, Hispanic, African American.

Study Eligibility:

·        Must have fine lines, uneven skin tone and visible pores on cheeks.

·        Cannot have long, voluminous, or artificial eyelashes.

·        Cannot have any significant medical conditions that are not controlled by diet or medication. If you are taking more than 5 medications, you may not be able to participate.

Grey Hair Serum

Study Description: This 5-visit study is testing a hair serum to see how well it works for people with grey hair. Participants will use the serum for 20 weeks, and both men and women are welcome to participate.

Gender:  Males & Females

Age: 18-55

Skin Types: Fitz I-VI (light to dark skin tones)

Compensation: Up to $650 ($750 for shaving group)

Study Eligibility:

·        Must have straight, wavy, or curly hair.

·        Must have grey hair covering most of your head at the crown (top of head) or near either temple (sides of scalp).

·        Must be willing not to dye your hair for the duration of the study.

·        Cannot have coily hair.

·        Cannot have damaged or brittle hair, history of scalp issues, or medical conditions that cause grey hair.

·        Cannot have hair extensions, weaves, tight braids, or very short hair (less than 3 inches).

·        Cannot have allergies to skin care products, peas, or tangerines.

·        Cannot have dyed your hair in the last month.

·        Cannot have had any facial treatments (e.g., facials, peels, Botox, lasers, etc.) in the past 6 months.

·        Cannot take 5+ medications or have uncontrolled conditions.

Body Wash Study

Study Description: This study will have participants try a new body wash product for 2 weeks to see how well it works and if it's safe.

Gender:  Males & Females

Age: 18-65

Skin Types: Fitz I-VI (light to dark skin tones)

Compensation: Up to $175

Study Eligibility:

·        Must have dryness on forearms, lower legs, torso, and back.

·        Must have sensitive forearms, lower legs, torso, and back.

·        Must be willing to replace your usual body wash/soap with the test product for the duration of the study.

·        Cannot have any large tattoos, scars, excessive hair, sunburn, or other skin conditions on forearms, lower legs, torso, or back.

·        Cannot have allergies to soap (cleanser, body wash, etc.) products.

·        Cannot have clinically active or history of any bacterial, fungal or viral skin infections.

·        Cannot take 5+ medications or have uncontrolled conditions.

Study Description: This study is testing the efficacy and how well a facial product works over 2 weeks for both women and men who show signs of aging.

Gender:  Males & Females

Age: 18-55

Skin Types: Fitz I-VI (light to dark skin tones)

Study Eligibility:

·        Must have visible pores or uneven skin tone on face.

·        Must have Flaky, dry, rough and/or bumpy skin on the back of the arms, legs, neck, and/or chest.

·        Must have been using facial cleanser or sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) for at least 30 days with no irritation.

·        Cannot have had any facial treatments (e.g., facials, peels, Botox, lasers, etc.) in the past 6 months.

·        Cannot currently have any active and/or history of skin infections (bacterial, viral, or fungal).

·        Cannot have tattoos or scars covering a majority of the face.

·        Cannot have allergies to skin care products, orange, or lemon.

·        Cannot take 5+ medications or have uncontrolled conditions.

Study Description: This study tests a facial product's effectiveness for women with sensitive skin, redness, and uneven texture over 4 weeks.

Gender:  Females

Age: 18-65 for Caucasian, Hispanic (18 up to 70 years for darker skin tones African American or Asian)

Skin Types: I-VI (Light to dark skin tones)

Compensation: Up to $450

Study Eligibility:

• Must have sensitive skin on body.  
• Must have redness, visible pores, or uneven skin tone.
• Must be willing to stop using foundation or any similar facial makeup during the study and use a similar product provided by clinic.
• Must willing to stay at the clinic for up to 10 hours at visit 2.
• Cannot have had any facial treatments in the last 6 months, such as Botox, fillers, or skin treatments (e.g., facials, lasers).
• Cannot have allergies to skin care products, sunflower seeds, cucumber, or magnolia.

Study Eligibility:

·        Must have at least 1 active eczema lesion on the body (not the face).

·        Willing to not shave or use any hair removal products on the areas of eczema within 24 hours of each visit.

·        If you have significant medical conditions or take too many medications, you may not be able to participate.

·        Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office.

·        Cannot have participated on a study involving the body at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2 weeks.

Study Description:

This study will test a supplement designed to help men with thinning hair. The goal is to determine if it improves hair thinning at the crown, temples, or hairline.

Gender:  Males

Age: 40-65

Skin Types: I-IV (light to medium skin tones)

Compensation: Up to $1600

Study Eligibility:

• Must have thinning hair on scalp, top, or sides of head.  

• Must have hair longer than 1.5 inches.

• Cannot have brittle or severely damaged hair from chemical treatments or tight hairstyles. 

• Cannot have had hair transplants or other head surgeries that could affect your scalp.
• Cannot have a condition like alopecia areata, scarring alopecia, or another hair loss disorder.  
• Cannot smoke more than 20 cigarettes a day.
• Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office.
• Cannot have participated on a study involving your scalp or hair in the last two weeks at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2 weeks.
