C25-D018 Facial Cream

Permanent Make up is Ok. 

Study Description:

This clinical trial aims to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of a liquid cream product over 6 weeks in women with visible pores on the cheeks and brown spots or redness on the face.

 

Gender:  Females

 

Age: 30-50 years old for Hispanic, Caucasian  (30 up to 55 years old for Asian and African American)

 

Skin Types: I-VI (light to dark skin tones)

 

Compensation: Up to $500

 

 

Study Eligibility:

·        Must have the following:

·        Visible pores on the cheeks

·        Brown spots and redness on the facial skin

·        Some panelists can have sensitive skin

·        Cannot have any significant medical conditions that are not controlled by diet or medication. If you are taking more than 5 medications, you may not be able to participate.

·        Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office.

·        Cannot have been in a study that involves the face or neck in the past 4 weeks.

FACIAL MASK STUDY DH124

Study Description:

The purpose of this study is to see how effective and well tolerated a facial mask product is over the course of 3 weeks.

 

 

Subgroups needed:  

Females Fitz I, II,  or Asian only; 

Males Fitz I-II, V-VI or Asian only.

 

Compensation: Up to $250 

 

 

Study Eligibility:

 

·         Must have appearance of pores, roughness, uneven skin tone, and dullness on the face.

·         Must have roughness and sagging on the cheeks.

·         Must have at least 2 blackheads on the face.

·         Some must have self-perceived sensitive skin.

·         Must be current users of a face mask product at least once per week and willing to replace it with the test material twice per week, or non-face mask users willing to use a face mask twice per week during the study.

·         Males must have none to light facial hair (no beard, long sideburns, etc) and be willing to shave within 24 hours of each visit (a small mustache and/or goatee is allowed as long as the majority of the face is shaved and visible for assessments).

·         Cannot have any significant medical conditions that are not controlled by diet or medication. If you are taking more than 5 medications, you may not be able to participate. 

·         Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office. 

·         Cannot have participated on a study involving the face at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 4 weeks.

Keratosis Pilaris Study

Study Description:

This study is designed to test how well two products work and how well they are tolerated by women with mild to moderate keratosis pilaris (KP) on their upper arms. Over the course of 2 weeks, the products will be tested using different imaging methods to measure their effectiveness and safety.

 

Gender:  Females

Age: 18-45 years old

 

Skin Types: Light to dark skin tones

 

Compensation: Up to $150

 

 

Study Eligibility:

  • Must have keratosis pilaris (KP), also known as "chicken or strawberry skin", on both of your upper arms
  • Must be willing to return to clinic day after Visit 1 to pick up product.

Study Description: This study will test how well the Sponsor's wet shave razor works for men with sensitive skin. Over 4 weeks, participants who regularly shave their face and intimate area will use the razor to see how their skin reacts.

 

Gender: Male 

Age: 18-55 years old

 

Skin Types: Light to dark skin tones

 

Compensation: Up to $175

 

 

Study Eligibility:

·         Must have sensitive skin.

·         Must regularly wet-shave on face and intimate area.

·         Must be willing to wet shave on face, neck, upper thighs, and intimate area at least three times a week.

·         Must be willing to not change brands of or begin use of any new shaving products, personal care/cleansing products, cosmetic products, or laundry products for the duration of the study.

·         Cannot have a history of significant skin reactions to razor product(s).

·         Cannot have been diagnosed with known allergies to skin care products.

·         Cannot currently be participating in another clinical trial or have you participated in one involving your face or intimate area in the past 2 weeks.

Study Description:

The purpose of this study is to see how effective and well tolerated topical products when used over the course of 4 weeks, and to assess the efficacy of the products to repair the skin barrier over the course of 24 hours on the legs and volar forearms of healthy women.

 

Gender: Females

 

Age: 30-65

 

Skin Types: I-III (Caucasian or Asian) with SENSITIVE SKIN

 

Compensation: Up to $550

 

 

Study Eligibility:

·         Some must have sensitive skin.

·         Must be willing to undergo tape stripping procedures on 4 locations total (1 on each inner forearm, and 1 on each lower leg.)

·         Must be willing to remain in clinic at visit 2 (baseline) until completion of hour 4 procedures.

·         Must be willing to avoid moisturizing products (eg, lotion, moisturizing body wash, etc) on the arms and legs for the duration of the study.

·         Must be willing to not shave the arms and legs within 24 hours before each study visit.

·         Must be willing to avoid depilatory (shaving) products on the arms and legs for at least 24 hours before visit 2 and for the duration of the study.

·         Cannot have sensitivity to tape or having thin skin that would be damaged by repeated tape removal.

·         Cannot have had any peel procedures or having used any peel products on the arms and/or legs within 4 weeks before study enrollment.

·         Cannot have any significant medical conditions that are not controlled by diet or medication. If you are taking more than 5 medications, you may not be able to participate. 

·         Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS (except for C24-D126), another research facility or doctor’s office. 

·         Cannot have participated on a study (except for C24-D126) involving the arms and/or legs at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2 weeks.

This clinical trial is evaluating the effectiveness of a facial product over 12 weeks in women with signs of aging on their face and neck.

Gender:  Females

Age: 35-65 years old

 

Skin Types: All skin tones (Light to dark skin tones)

 

Compensation: Up to $525

 

 

Study Eligibility:

  • Must have lines in the following areas: between the eyebrows, one the forehead, around the mouth, on the neck, fine lines under the eyes, and crow’s feet wrinkles.
  • Cannot have permanent makeup tattoos.
  • Cannot have scars or tattoos that cover most of the face or neck.

Study Description:  

The purpose of this study is to see how effective and well tolerated an eye product is over the course of 8 weeks. 

 

Gender:  Males and Females 

 

Age: 18-55  - For Asian and African American , ok for 18-60

 

Skin Types: I-VI (Light to dark skin tones) 

 

Compensation: Up to $400 

 

 

Study Eligibility: 

 

  • Must have fine lines on the crow’s feet and undereye areas. 

  • Must have discoloration and uneven skin tone on the eyelids. 

  • Must have dullness, skin roughness, loose feeling skin, dryness, and a slightly dehydrated/shriveled appearance around the eye area. 

  • Must have undereye dark circles and undereye puffiness. 

  • Males must have none to light facial hair (no beard, long sideburns etc) and must be willing to shave within 24 hours of each visit. (a small mustache and/or goatee is allowed as long as the majority of the face is shaved). 

  • Must be a regular user of a sunscreen, cleaner and moisturizer with no anti-aging claims. 

  • Cannot have non-removeable facial jewelry, tattooed-on eyebrows, or other permanent makeup on the face. 

  • Cannot have any significant medical conditions that are not controlled by diet or medication. If you are taking more than 5 medications, you may not be able to participate. 

  • Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office. 

  • Cannot have participated on a study involving the face at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 4 weeks.

Study Description:

The purpose of this study is to see how effective antiperspirant products are when used over the course of 12 weeks.

 

Gender:  Females

 

Age: 18-65

 

Skin Types:  Must have Fitz 3 & 4.

Fitz III-IV can be one of the following:

  • Hispanic
  • African American IF they are a LIGHT Fitz IV
  • Other – (mixed race) Fitz III-IV
  •

Study Eligibility:

·        Must have at least 1 dark spot (at least 3mm in size) on each side of the face (on the cheeks).

Study Description: This study is testing how well a facial and body cleanser works and how it is tolerated when used for 28 days. It is open to both women and men who have sensitive skin and visible dryness on their lower legs. The goal is to see how effective and gentle the cleanser is for improving these skin conditions on the face, eye area, inner forearms, and lower legs.

 

 

Gender: Females and Males

Age: 18 – 60 years old

 

Skin Types: All skin types and tones

 

Compensation: Up to $175

 

 

Study Eligibility:

·         Must have sensitive skin.

·         Must have dryness on the lower legs.

·         Be willing to avoid washing one arm for the full study period.

Study Description: This study is testing a facial product to see how well it works and how people tolerate it. It will last 8 weeks and involves women who have crows feet wrinkles and also have either redness or uneven skin tone/pigmentation on their face.

 

 

Gender: Female

Age: 25-65 (up to 75 for darker skin tone)

 

Skin Types: All skin types.

 

Compensation: Up to $275

 

 

Study Eligibility:

o   Must have Crow’s feet wrinkles

o   Must have one of the following: dark spots/patches, or redness or blotchiness’ on the face.

o   May have sensitive skin or be prone to acne scarring.

o   Willing to avoid anti-aging, moisturizing, or exfoliating products on the face for at least 3 days prior to Visit 1.

o   Cannot wear artificial eyelashes or have extensions.

The purpose of this study is to see how effective an investigational supplement is in reducing breakouts during menstrual cycles.

·        Must have a regular menstrual cycle with 1 cycle per month (25 to 35 days between each period start)

·        Must have at least 5 red raised bumps (pimples), blackheads and/or whiteheads on the face.

The purpose of this study is to see how effective and well tolerated a body product when used over the course of 4 weeks.

 

Gender:  Males and Females 

 

Age: 18-45  

 

Skin Types: (open for Caucasian Fair skin and Asian medium-dark skin)

 

Compensation: Up to $300 

 

 

Study Eligibility:

·         Must shave, wax, or closely trim underarm/armpit hair at least once per week (men can be less frequent; once every 2 weeks) and don’t use shaving products (shaving cream, lotion, etc) during or after shaving.

·         Must be a regular user a deodorant product (without antiperspirant) and willing to replace regular deodorant product with the test material during the study.

·         Must be willing to continue regular shaving routine and to avoid using shaving products during the study.

·         Must be willing to have images taken of the underarms/armpits during the study.

·         Cannot use clinical strength antiperspirant or deodorant products.

·         Must have lack of firmness on the upper and lower eye area, wrinkles on the crow’s feet area, fine lines on the under-eye area, tear trough on the under-eye area, and lack of plumpness on periocular area.

·         Must be willing to maintain visit 1/baseline condition of eyebrows and eyelashes (do not start/stop wearing artificial eyelashes or otherwise noticeably change brow/lash appearance) during the study.

·         Cannot have tattoos including tattooed-on eyebrows or other permanent makeup (such as eyeliner) on the eye area.

·         Cannot have artificial eyelashes, eyelash extensions, or long and/or voluminous eyelashes.

·         Cannot have been diagnosed with known allergies to skin care products.

Atopic Dermatitis Cream C24-DE079

Study Description:  

The purpose of this study is to assess and compare the effects of two different skin creams when used over the course of 6 weeks. 

 

 

Gender:  Males and Females 

 

Age: 8-55 

 

Skin Types: I-VI (Light to dark skin tones) 

 

Compensation: Up to $750 

 

 

Study Eligibility: 

 

  • Must have at least 1 active atopic dermatitis lesion on the arms, legs or torso (cannot be on the hands, feet, face or neck). 

  • Must be willing to stop using any medication or skin moisturizing treatments for atopic dermatitis other than the test product during the study. 

  • Must be willing to not shave the area (on the arms, legs or torso) with atopic dermatitis within 3 days of each study visit and be willing to have body hair on the test area trimmed with scissors by the clinic, if needed. 

  • Cannot have any allergies to Super Glue, glue or adhesives. 

  • Cannot be using any prescription medications or skin moisturizing products to treat eczema/atopic dermatitis 2 weeks before you start the study. 

  • Cannot be using any over-the-counter medications to treat eczema 3 days before you start the study. 

  • Cannot have used prescription medication to treat eczema/atopic dermatitis within 2 weeks before you start the study. 

  • If you have significant medical conditions or take too many medications, you may not be able to participate. 

  • Cannot currently be participating in another study at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office. 

Cannot have participated on a study involving the arms, legs or torso at SGS, another research facility or doctor’s office within the past 2 weeks.
